Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Butterfly Hospitals is a Level 3 facility, which means that we are equipped to provide the highest level of care for critically ill newborns. Our NICU is staffed by highly trained neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who specialize in the care of premature and critically ill infants.

Our Level 3 NICU is equipped with the latest technology and medical equipment to provide the most advanced care for newborns. This includes advanced monitoring equipment to closely track vital signs and oxygen levels, as well as specialized equipment for providing respiratory and nutritional support.

One of the key features of our Level 3 NICU is our ability to provide care for extremely premature infants, those born before 32 weeks of gestation. Our neonatologists have the expertise and experience to provide specialized care for these tiny patients, including the use of surfactant therapy to help them breathe and the use of specialized equipment such as incubators and isolates to help them maintain their body temperature.

Our NICU also has a dedicated team of neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who provide around-the-clock care for our patients. We understand that a premature birth can be a stressful and emotional time for families, and we are committed to providing support and education to families throughout their stay in the NICU.

We are also committed to working closely with the patient's primary pediatrician and other specialists to ensure that we are providing the most comprehensive and coordinated care possible.

We understand that the NICU experience can be overwhelming, but our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care for your baby and support for your family. We are committed to providing the best possible outcome for every patient, every time.
